Scholarships
Each year San Marin High School and Novato High School Softball players are selected to receive a Gary Gates Foundation Academic scholarship.
Eligibility requirements
Female varsity softball player
Graduating senior
Continuing education (college/tech schooling)
Criteria
Positive attitude on and off the field
Conduct on and off the field
Always a team player
Does not have to be the team MVP
Does not have to possess the best sport technique
